DIYA VIDISHA’S INITIATIVE FOR YOUTH AWARENESS

DIYA Vidisha organized a 1 day workshop on 17^th December 2010. The workshop was mainly focused on “Youth Awareness and Personality Development”. Around hundreds of youth attended this workshop.

For conducting the workshop team Vidisha invited DIYA Pune coordinator Mr. Rohit Shrivastava, who introduced the basic concepts related to youth empowerment and nation development, Around 100 of youth from various places like Jabalpur, Hoshangabad, Bhopal etc. attended the workshop.

The chief guests for the workshop were Shri Ramesh Abhilashi Ji, a Shantikunj representative and Shri Udham Singh ji, alumni from DSVV Haridwar. They inaugurated the program by “Deep-prajawalan” followed by meditation.

After meditation, very interactive icebreaking activities were conducted which were fully enjoyed by the local youth. 

After Icebreaking activities, “Tree plantation” was carried out by the attendees in a nearby garden in which around 40 saplings were planted.

This was followed by Inspirational and patriotic music by DIYA Rahul and DIYA Sourabh. Some soulful poems were also presented by DIYA Abhinav. Local youth also participated and come up with their talent.

Post Lunch, DIYA introductory and query session was conducted by DIYA Pune coordinator. He shared the basic concept, vision and mission of DIYA with the local youth and inspired them for “Nation development through self refinement”.

After the vital session of DIYA introduction, team Vidisha performed one youth oriented De-addiction play which was played by DIYA Abhinav, Devatva, Swati, Sourabh, Thansingh, Neelesh, Akshay, Jayash, Nikita and narrated by DIYA Rahul. This was highly appreciated by the audience.

After the play, Personality development activities were conducted in which the attendees performed various skits based on “SAPT KRANTIS” of DIYA. They were appreciated and hence awarded for their presentation. 

Oration from few members of DIYA Vidisha appealed the youth to join hands with DIYA.

At last, one “Yuva-Awahan” song was presented by DIYA Rohit and then program was concluded by Sankalp and enlightening diyas. 

Chief guests shivered their blessings & well wishes to all participants and appreciated the organizers. Members of team Vidisha DIYA Abhinav, Devatva, Nikita, Nishita, Shubham,  Garima, Neelesh, Ankita, Jayati, Akshay, Jayash, Laxman, Siddhi, Than singh, shreyash, vijay, Sourabh, Rahul, Swati and many other helping hands contributed their dedicated efforts in organizing the workshop. Program was hosted by DIYA Devatva, a member of DIYA Vidisha.
