Ban the Rape-Catalyst
Consumption of alcoholic drinks/narcotic drugs or other intoxicating substances is a prominent cause that makes one mindless and triggers/boosts beastly instincts. In most cases of rape and/or violence, the culprits/accused are reported to have consumed wine/liquor/charas or other kinds of “nashaa”. Intoxication will continue to catalyze the evil instincts in spite of harsh laws and punishments against the heinous crimes like rape.
We therefore appeal that apart from making stringent laws against such crimes, there should be an effective law prohibiting the production, distribution/sale and consumption of wine/liquor/ narcotic drugs and all other intoxicating substances .
